UBUNTU MAAS

Let’s begin using this guide to build our lab:

For our lab the installation of Maas has been made on a VM with two vnet in this way

  • “vMngt: dedicated our virtual node network – 1.1.110.0/24;
  • “vPublic”: dedicated our external network – 1.1.111.0/24;

Once a time our VM is ready it’ll must have the network configured like that:

$: more /etc/network/interfaces
# The loopback network interface
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

# The Management network
auto ens32
iface ens32 inet static
 address 1.1.110.10
 netmask 255.255.255.0
 network 1.1.110.0
 broadcast 1.1.110.255
 gateway 1.1.110.2
 # dns-* options are implemented by the resolvconf package, if installed
 dns-nameservers 1.1.110.10 8.8.8.8
 dns-search maas

# The Private network
auto ens38
iface ens33 inet static
 address 1.1.111.10
 netmask 255.255.255.0
 network 1.1.110.0
 broadcast 1.1.110.255

Then our topics will be covered by:
